Dear Angela, Claire, Eleanor and Nick How to begin? We are not usually lost for words but are struggling to express our sorrow at Martin’s passing. Let’s concentrate on the essentials; a kind, generous, attentive friend; a splendid host and raconteur; a jovial holiday companion and kindly Godfather and family man. Martin will be much missed by us all. We spent Tuesday following the order of service, listening to the music and sharing the poems. We look forward to a further opportunity to share our memories of Martin at the Memorial Celebration. Glasses have been raised and Marmite consumed. Rest easy cher ami. Au revoir Martin and Rosemary
