Dear Angela, Claire, Eleanor and Nick, Martin was such a generous man - with his time, with his affections and with his desire to share his appreciation of the finer things in life, particularly a well rounded, full bodied red wine. Paul and I always found him calm and unflappable, unless roused by his passion for a wide variety of sport. He was a true gentleman and a true European, with a love of travel, culture and languages. We will always raise a glass in his memory, as we sip a chilled rosé on our terrace in his beloved Provence. Kate and Paul
